Starting a build thread for my 2004 F250 Cummins conversion. I bought the truck from a guy in Arizona and had it shipped to Pa since all the trucks up here are rust buckets. It currently has a "bulletproofed" 6.0 with a rod through the side of the block. I'm swapping it for a 89 12 valve Cummins with a p7100 and he351cw. I'm going to run the 5r110 with the factory tcm and use a Ford Cummins adapter and flexplate.

More pics to come as parts start showing up. I'm also helping my friend with his 2005 F350 that we are converting to a 12v Cummins powered dually flatbed so I'll post pics of his too as we make progress.

The he351cw showed up today along with the adapter set. Turbo will be getting new bearings and seals. Anyone know which manifold will work best on a Superduty with this turbo? I've got a 1st gen, 2nd gen, and a low rear mount.

That combo should net you some good economy. I've been looking for a clean 12 thru 15 four door F250 - F350 single wheel Lariat to do a 6.7 CR swap.

If your looking for a cheap solution, look for a stock industrial exhaust manifold from a heavy duty truck application. That will put the turbo low to the rear of the motor to help clear the AC box etc. Since your using a 93 12 valve you will need an additional turbo drain nipple or port in the rear to run that manifold. You can weld a bung to the pan up high if need be. Just do it before you put the motor in the truck. LOL

I've used both manifolds. I like the industrial manifold its got more clearance around ac. I got more pictures of the truck I just finished. Pm me if you want to see them.

I used a flipped 1st gen on my Excursion. I think the industrial/3rd gen looks cleaner though.

Yea I used them on mine. Just drill a hole on each side of the crossmember then drop it in. Easy peasy.

I also used a first gen exhaust manifold I still have stock h1c requires a spacer for decent routing though
