My fil has an 06 3500. He keeps saying it has an exhaust brake (OEM). I didn't think that year came with one, does it?

Fleece sells the Turbobrake, basically works like the Dodge 6.7 VNT, uses the vanes of the turbo to slow. Maybe he has that?

OEM, no they didn't have that function until the LML
 
If he is using EFI Live for tuning then it can be written into the programming. Any LLY/LBZ/LMM truck can have a turbo brake.

No tuner at all. Tried selling him on EFI Live, but he's one of those "what's the best chip" people.


He's about to buy a 2013 GMC when they come out in a few months.
