4x2 and 4x4 differences on front frame (control arm mounts)

Are the 4x2 and 4x4 frames the same? Do they both have the same mounts for control arms?

Not at all... the 2wd has 2 a-arms on each side and the 4wd uses parallel 4 link.... you wold have to cut off the old mounts and weld on new ones for any type on conversion.... now i think the 2wd DRW 3500's might have a dummy axle in the front that uses 4 link.... so it might be easier to do a 4wd conversion.
