My stock allison is startin to get week.
So i got ahold of Mister Transmission in Hamilton,On and talked to greg.
He told me he can build a trany for my truck that will hold 500 rear wheel hp with a single dick converter.
The truck is a daily driver i pull a trailer about 10k here and ther and i use it at the drag strip and fun on the street.
Do you guys think it will hold or do i need to go a different route.

whats the price? You don't know if it'll hold unless he's built one before for another truck with actuall 500HP.

single disc convertor and 500 horse I dont think so, Not trying to knock em but I would look at some other shops, a single disc will not last with 500 hp
 
Triple disc is the only wat to go! Had friends who went single and regreted it since day 1!
 
500hp and a single disk....ok sure many idle and take a poop.
im running a suncoast 3 and putting it through its paces, id look into them.
 
If he is putting in a single you Better Get his promise in writing!
 
You need to get a proven kit. PPE, ATS, Suncoast, TTS all make upgraded kits that come with your choice of convertor. Research alot and make calls. If this guy is familiar with Allisons, maybe he can install the kit.
