6.0 pro's... no codes, wont go over 1800rpm

The orig 6.0 lost a head gasket pulling a pass. it got yanked and replaced with a core engine. After the swap, the truck ran fine for about 30mi. Now it wont rev over 1800rpm's and shows no codes with the scanner. no smoke ect....Where to start lol??

FICM??? When the FICM went out on my truck, I could push the pedal to the floor and wouldn't go over 1500 rpm. Don't know if there was anything else related to that, but a new FICM solved my problems...

Check the harness on the FICM and also check the voltage. What type of scan tool are you using?

Could be low fuel psi also..

It was the FICM, even after soldering the old unit, voltage was not up to par.
