Hey Jeff, I pm'd you awhile back but havn't heard anything. Is there such thing as a 6.7 marine engine? If so what can you tell me about it and where can I find one? Thanks.

From my personal investigation of this matter, in '08 Cummins only offered the B-Series marine version in a 5.9L, but had 2 versions, 12v and CR. I'm not sure what '09 or '10 brought.

I was at Fletchers shop awhile back and he had a industrial 6.7 from a generator or something. Are those any stronger/better than pickup blocks?

I don't know. I did talk to Bill awhile back about that industrial engine he has. As far as I can tell it uses most of the same major components as the pickup engine.

When we say industrial, are referring to the rear cam driven ones?

I work for cummins marine and i have yet to see a 6.7 in a boat...but have worked on a few 6.7s in equipment

Some have the rear drive train, but they can be swaped to a front drive train
