7.3 leaking fuel

I'm a cummins guy so bare with me. My dads 99 is leaking fuel out the water drain off on the fuel filter. Is this common and any advice on how to fix it? Thanks

Ya just go to Ford and order the drain valve. Seen a lot of them leak.

Yep, very common. Right up there with improper filter installation, bad filter lids, and bad filter lid o-rings.

Dealer should have it in stock.
