Back during Diesel Power Challenge 2007, Zane from WOP was there with his '97 making some test hits trying to be the first Power Stroke to break into the 10s. Little did I know (until I found it on our own youtube site!) that the video crew made a compilation of all Zane's runs that day. Truck looks like one heck of a handful! I can see why you went to two-wheel drive!

dennis makes for a great burnout advisor and those tires suck donkey balls. truck looked like it was playing dodge ball.
 
Sweet vid! That truck was super squirrelly with those tires.
 
Holy crap that's awesome. We talk about that day at the shop all the time, never did see any of the footage. Thanks so much for finding that and posting it Jason
 
I always liked that truck. Very clean, fast, and that was when there weren't many fast Fords.
 
Hey Jason- If you find yourself with a spare minute at the office, see if you can round up the in-cab footage from in the truck when they raced the Corvette, that would make for a good youtube clip...

I thought Hypermax had something to do with a 68/69 Ford Truck that was well into the 10s back in the 90's ??? I could be wrong though
 
Yeah it was/is Bill Jahns' truck. Ran 10.0 or so I've heard....but as some Ford guys pointed out, it wasn't a Power Stroke, it was an IDI....with a p-pump on it. But whatever, it still rocked, especially for the 90s. Heck, a low 10 might have won Pro Street this year at TS!
