Adjustable gear stock timing cover

Negative ghost rider. It is to allow access to the adjustable gear for the ease of changing pump timing.
 
^^^ I know how they work haha I just was saying the hole he has is much larger than most. Some are able to pull the gear out also
 
Tim does have a big hole but, he takes alot of abuse! lol lol

That's what I get for trying to help somebody out? Man compd is a rough crowd. Lol
 
Do u have to modify timing cover to clear the gear or just to make it easier to adjust. I don't have a pulling truck but my street truck recently slipped timing at a very inopportune time. I think it'll be worth $300 to have the piece of mind of not going thru that again. I'll just set it once and never touch it again. Can I reuse my unmodified cover?
