Need advise for a truck to be used only as a towing set up. 5.9 12v mechancial. I need lots of torque and reliablity. thanks for input.

lol ^ 35 over ht3b cheap great power and fast spool, 5x.012 not 370s! retorqued head bolts, 16.5 degrees timing, 3k's, either a clutch or built up trans depending, should be pretty solid.

5x.012's, smallish twins (I'd say ht3b under 35, but 3b parts/kits are hard to come by). Studs or torque down stockers, 16-18*, 3k's, TC and VB/shift kit, maybe an input shaft if you go over 450hp or so.

quick note too this is on my fl 60 freightliner. 3:58 rears, eaton fuller 6 speed transmission.

i would say bd towing twins for something like that, wouldnt want any lag with something that heavy

35/40-14cm over a gt4202wg. Super quick and very tunable. Of coarse you need a fuel setup to match.
