I have been kicking around the idea of getting a new / or rebuilding the existing alternator on my truck. The truck has 103K on it and it is 7 years old now + I just put 2 new batteries in it last year - The charging system is working properly now. I have heard a little bit about Mean Green Alternators and they seem like a great product. Can anyone give me some advise on what they have done in the past, other aftermarket alternators, rebuilding the existing........ Thanks. I'd rather be proactive than stuck stranded somewhere.
