Alternator question.

My alternator died the other day. I replaced it with a reman from oreilly and all was good for one day. The alt is charging 15 volts at both batteries and showing charging on the inside gauge. The DIC says Battery Not Charging and the battery light is on. What the hell is going on?

Sorry man you are just too damned far from me and the guy that bought our local NAPA is such a dick I won't buy oil from him.

:hehe: Don't worry about it buddy...

First thing I would do is disconnect both batteries and test them individually..Make sure you don't have a dead cell in one.

Tech at stealer says instrument cluster. I don't see it.
