Aluminum oil pan

Because I'm using a vp case on a cr block i had to make an oil pan to fit it. Thought id post my progress.


Just gotta weld it up and its done, shoul look nice when its all done!

Same rigamaroll to do a 6.7, so I like it that someone else is doing the front pan re-work, which I didn't have the patience to do.

That you're doing it aluminum makes it that much more original.

I effed up...

Hahaha hate admitting when I screw up, but I made my pan a touch to big.... so it was just touching the front diff when I hit any bumps :bang. So, if anyone knows Sprint car, or for that matter any form of dirt racing, you may have heard of Arts Radiators. I asked if he could make me a pan and this is what I got. A really clean piece and obviously wayyyy better quality then my previous build, and the welds are second to none. If anyone would have interest in have a pan build, he said he would like to do more. PM for details...

Yup! I took my pan off that I made and showed him where it was too big...
