block fill with engine in truck?

I ran my 3.0 cummins with water in past years, but would like to fill the block now is this possible thru a coolant port with the engine assembled? thanks, Jake

I dont think you'd get enough of the air out of it. You really need to get it out on the ground/bench and go at it with the needle scaler while you fill it, plus not to mention you really should have everything lined back up. The cement moves the block around so much that I would highly recommend having the cam and crank bores cleaned up, along with a good deckplate hone afterwards.
