The 2009 USA-EAST ‘FINALS’ for the PRO STOCK DIESEL 4x4 TRUCKS will take place in front of the huge grandstand at the Bloomsburg Fair in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday, October 3rd at 7:00pm. A rain-date has been reserved for Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm. In past years this class has been ‘invitational’ in nature, however in 2009 the class will be operated as “Open To The World”. All trucks that meet the rules will be welcome to participate in the class at Bloomsburg this year. The Pro Stock Diesel class will be contested as the third class of the session after the Big Rigs Semis and the “Smoker Series” Tractors.
A raised purse of $2750.00 has been posted for this pull. The purse will pay $550 to win and will pay down to fifteen (15) places. Entry fee will be $30.00 per truck at Bloomsburg and three persons with each truck will receive complete pit side credentials at no cost to the puller.
Prior to traveling to Bloomsburg all 4x4 pullers should make themselves fully aware of the rules for PRO STOCK DIESEL 4x4 TRUCKS. These trucks must utilize an OEM driveline and must run on DOT tires. Additionally all trucks must have a working kill switch and full safety equipment as prescribed by the current USA-EAST rulebook. Regular street licensed trucks without the necessary safety equipment are NOT permitted to participate in this class at Bloomsburg. While members of USA-EAST will collect points at Bloomsburg, there is no requirement to become a member of USA-EAST in order to participate. This is an open entry pulling event that is truly “open to the world”.
The Pit Gate at Bloomsburg will open at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 3rd. Pullers should not arrive earlier as there is no room to park and the gate will not be open. All pullers in all classes must be inside the Pit area and registered to pull no later than 5:30pm when the Pit gate will be closed and locked. No trucks will be permitted to register after 5:30pm.
Tickets to the Bloomsburg Fair USA-EAST “Finals” are now on sale. Order forms for tickets are available by going to the Bloomsburg Fair web page at 155th Annual Bloomsburg Fair - September 26 - October 3 2009 where the form can be printed out and mailed to the Fair. Additionally tickets are available by phone (using a major credit card) at 570.387.4192. On line ticket sales are also available through the same web site where fans can actually choose their seats in the giant 7500 seat arena.
