Putting a 184/215 cam in my 24v. Cam card says install at 111 centerline. Just wondering if anybody else has degreed one of these cams in and what they installed it (advanced or retarded at all) at and if they where happy with how it ran. Truck will be mostly sled pulled might drive on street some and is p pumped ported head and will be running a single s472.

I think the intake center sounds high, but it is not my camshaft. We have a cam close to this, and I would be at 98 to 102. Specially if I was pulling it. But then again it depends on the lobe separation too. He also maybe concerned about valve to piston clearance.

Lobe lift is .305

Gross valve lift is .458

Lobe separation is 110°

I have two cam cards that state the intake centerline at 107° and 110°.

I have the 107° and I'm gonna try advancing it 5° with an offset-key. I'll be tearing it apart this weekend.

Maxspool told me right around 100-102 and shouldn't have to worry about flycutting. When I degreed it in advanced one tooth and is at 98 degrees should get my pump back soon and hoping to get it running soon.
