I was looking to add either a go-pro or ION camera on my puller this season. What are the pros and cons?, has anyone used the ION? Looking for some advise since I'm new to the camera thing
 
I have only used gopro's, contour, and midland. Gopro hero 3 black has the most options and acc - smartphone control, wifi, wifi remote, and one of the few that will shoot 60 fps if those options are impotant. If you dont care about fancy features buy a midland hd under 100 at costco or walmart instead of 350-400 for the hero 3 black. i have no expierence with ion's. The contour is not a amature friendly action cam
 
I use a GoPro hero 2, i like it. Id like to have the wifi for it. The mounts are good and its survived a few tough hits.
 
+1 for gopro. Worth the money if you will use it enough

I'm only using it for pulling season (3-4 months) other then that will probley never use it. Plus I know little about them and don't want to spend a lot of money when a less expensive go-pro or ION will work. I've looked both camera's over and way to much technical jargon.
