Hello everyone. I've been lurking around Diesel sites for about a year, and have gotten a wealth of information by reading about other peoples projects, problems, and solutions. I got my first diesel about a year ago, the 1994 2500 Dodge 2WD automatic that I based my I.D. on. It had less than 90k miles and I was able to drive it home 30 miles. I used the internet to help diagnose the Hard-Start symptom (lift pump) and also got the 47rh under control by adding 2 dpdt "mystery" switches.
I'm a retired engineer and I would like to transplant a Cummins into something "different". If anyone knows of a shop in the Greater Philadelphia area that will undertake a Chevy/Cummins swap let me know. I've found places that will assist in a Ford fummins build but that's it. Thanks!
