I'm doing a solid axle swap in my 93 2wd. It will be mated to a 47rh and I am curious if anyone has don't this and if they have any words if wisdom they could share. Not entirely sure how I will setup shifter or if the angles are correct for the front shaft. Also, a will eventually be doing a spring under axle flup to get the front end down, will this pose a problem? Any help is greatly appreciated

no, I am doing a pass side drop. I will make the exhaust work, I am not too worried about that

has anyone done this without using the clocking ring? I am curious where the t/c will end up without it or if I will def have to use it.

The only thing to do really is run a 1991 suburban
Np241
It's a one year only case pass drop and is 32 spline front/rear output
Shear strength as strong as a np205
6 planataries input
Swap a dodge input into the chev case and buy a cheap clocking ring .
Don't clock too much or you will have oiling issues

Yes it can be done. take the case apart re route the fluid pickup tube, then oblong the mounting holes in the overdrive housing on the trans other than that its not to big of a job
