I have a 96 OBS truck with a zf5 in it. Every since I rebuilt the truck and put in a new clutch something just hasnt been right. I went with a solid flywheel an organic disc and a real heavy pressure plate. The clutch has been noisey since I put it in when stopped unless I press in the pedal and then quiets down. I could smell the clutch burning when I would take off at normal speeds. It did this pretty bad for a while,but,then after several miles of break in I didnt smell it very much any longer. That lasted about 6 or 7 months and now with less than 20k on the new stuff the clutch is slipping. Sometimes it does it worse than other times. However, it doesnt seem to matter if I am towing or not. It doesnt matter if the tuner is turned up or not. The slip is really random and unpredictable. It is constant whenever the tuner is dialed up and I am getting in the throttle really heavy.
