Code????

So pulled two different places over the weekend, 2 hooks at each place. the first pull truck ran great. the three others, it had like a slight miss after take off, (kinda like it wasnt getting fuel) but by like 130 mark or so it would smooth out and run fine. ended up pulling 290's and 300's.so didnt really hurt the pull just wondering wat it might of been. Maybe to high of smarty settings? I run edge on 5x5 and smarty on 4 and other settings on smarty all the way up.... so then i checked today for a code and had a p0217 engine performance decrease from overheating,never had that before. Truck never got above 210 or so. the whole time, so i just cleared the code,is that possible that could of caused the slight miss.
