The trans cooler had a huge leak and from driving it back home like that, a lot of trans fluid is sprayed on the drivers side and tailgate. I was wondering if there's anything i can use to remove the oil from the paint before using regular car wash soap? I'm pretty sure degreaser will work but it also might mess up the paint/clear...
anyone ever blown an oil line or cooler and had oil all over the truck? How did you remove it while not damaging the paint?

Thanks for any tips or advice

Dont use industial degreaser, just regular old parts store stuff, not the aerosol kind.

Wash off imediatley, if it sets you will dull your clear.

WD-40 works well. I had tar on my paint and it took it off very easily.

I use purple stuff or purple power what ever one is cheaper when I go to buy it. I mix it 4 parts water to 1 part purple..... I use a pump sprayer like you use to spray bug killer. Spay it on rinse it off then wash the truck.
