Diesel Sportsman soon to be Turbo

Picked up a new toy last night. Not nearly in as good of condition but it runs well and just needs some TLC I have all the parts to put it back together also.

Now I just need to figure out how to turn the pump up.:lolly:

Any body work on one of these things or know anything about them?

Mainly going to use it for plowing and some deer hunting. I have a tiny little turbo sitting in the shed that may end up on it.:charger:

You certainly got a goofy monster there! The little bit I know about them is that they're direct injection and 450 couple cc's. I've talked to a few people who've worked on them and they all agreed that they are slow as all hell, you need earplugs to ride them, and are quite finicky. I imagine if you found/bought a service manual you could figure out how to play with injection timing and quantity. For the turbo, as long as you have a small enough one, go for it! My arctic cat loves boost.
