Dorman Oil cooler compared to ford

Does anyone know who actualy manufactures the cooler for ford motorcraft, is it their's or a rebadge from a smaller company?

Other than Dorman products being made in china what are the disadvantages of their cooler.

Has anyone had one of Dorman's coolers fail?
 
not sure who actually makes the ford one I was told it was modine.
Dorman are junk period changed out 3 this year. temps run a little hotter 1 was leaking oil into coolant could of been the tard that installed it. and the green gaskets that come with it suck I don't think are compatible with oil swollen and the found tons of green gasket material in hpop screen
 
Hmmmm not good. That stinks to Hear. Anyone else have similar problems or success? I'm from then do it once school but iI don't like spending money that's the only reason I ask. What was the life on those dormans you changed?
 
Most of them were less than 1 year old the dormans are cheap but you kind of get what you pay. you can get factory coolers for 265 its worth the extra 100 bucks
