Buddy wants help putting a programmer in his powerstroke, and I was wondering where the best spot to put the probe is. Haven't looked at his truck yet. Thanks in advance.

why in the up-pipe it would be better at cyl 8 which is the last cyl on drivers side, that is where is will be the hottest

Why dont you try a little experiment and put one in the driverside manifold and then put one post turbo location and please tell us of your results. You will see not a whole lot of difference at idle but when you are under a load you can view large difference showing the manifold hotter than the post turbo.
