fan clutch nut size

Any idea what size the fan clutch nut is?

Putting a LB7 into a '56 Desoto, and have electric fans on the radiator. WAnted to take the fan clutch off, but I can't find a nut or lock nut the size of the shaft to keep the pulley on. Ideas??

1 1/2'' wrench will work

Dont need one it is a one piece setup. Just ditch the fan and clutch

I used a hammer and a chisel. Came right off.

Already have the nut off, my wording sounded like I hadn't. The clutch/nut is off, and I'm trying to keep the clutch off the shaft on the motor.

But I would like to place a plain or locking nut on without the fan clutch attached, and what is the "one piece" part your talking about? the clutch and nut are a single piece I'm aware.

No, you don't need anything threaded onto it as the threads are just part of the pressed on pulley.

So the pulley has its own threads and acts like a nut right?
