front cover removal

Are there any tricks to fishing the front cover off? I removed all the bolts, water pump assembly, fan pulley, and now it's loose, but it's getting caught up on the thermostat housing/intake manifold it looks like. It doesn't say anything about removing the thermostat housing/intake on the computer software I looked at. The cover is extremely loose, but just seems to be caught up top.

It should come off easy. Did you remove the CP3 or any of its bolts from the back?

I didn't touch anything on the cp3. Does that have to be removed?
