I have got a fuel pump that looks like a waterman big brother.
the fuel pump specs are
264gph at 3300rpms
I am wondering if it would be enough to keep a 215 pump for a puller alive.

It would be
400gph at 5000 rpms
88gph at 1100 rpms

It was free and normally comes off a 3057hp v12 diesel

thanks

I would run a smaller pulley to get those numbers up more. Might as well get some more fuel through it.

Yea i was thinking that
the Waterman fuel pump it 8-12 gpm but at what rpm? I cant find out anything on more information about them

What Size pulleys are with the pump? There are calculators out there to figure rpm change depending on pulley size. Then you just figure what rpm gets you to your desired gph and figure what size pulley to use.

The Waterman pump i used on another customers truck was driven off the vacuum pump

Mine has no pulley it was gear driven off the a similar way

Any idea what size gear it was? Great size=pulley size in the equations.

A waterman 500 flows 4.8 gpm @4000 rpms and a waterman 600 flow 5.8 @ 4000. All the "mini bertha" and "sprint" pumps are rated @ 4000 rpm

Thanks I did the math
Waterman 4.8 gpm 288 gph @4000rpms = 72gph @1000 rpms 360 gph @5000 rpms
My fuel pump 4.4 gpm 264 gph @3300 rpms =88gph @1000rpms 440 gph @5000 rpms

I think that will be enough to keep it alive
