getting another diesel been out of the loop

well i sold my 250 about 4 years ago now and i've decided it's time to get back into another one...i was pretty familiar with the 6.0 and built that motor from the ground up...this go around i'm not looking to dive in so far..just plan on doing deletes, intake/exhaust and a tuner....my question is which motor should i go with the 6.4 or 6.7...want power not looking for a race truck...advice on motor and also what mods it needs would be appreciated

Both engines need deleted, dpf and egr. So a tuner is a must. If it was me I'd look at the 6.7. The 6.4 will make more power but the 6.7 is a more reliable engine.

the 6.7 seems to be a pretty good choice. i know of a few that are far from race trucks but the owners seem very happy so far.

Why is the 6.7 more reliable than a 6.4?

Doesn't make as much power, cleaner running/les regen issues stock, and get cracked piston issues

I have a few friends with the new 6.7 Ford and they love them. Both are still bone stock, one with close to 70k already and zero issue's.
