good reason for tech inspection

That's unreal. Lucky lucky man. I think he should quit while he's ahead. Renfro was fortunate not to have to take the whole ride.
 
What kind of track is that, an outlaw track, there is a reason for guard rails. Not counting every other tech infraction on that car. I hear this every day, about safety equipment, "were not racing National events, they don't check that at our little track" one incident like this one usually closes a track down if someone is killed, primarily because the insurance is canceled when the sanctioning body jerks their ticket
 
You think he'd have had more sense than to keep his foot in it when the car got squirelly.
