I'm going to pick up my fist duramax tomorrow, Ive had a couple dodges and fords and didnt plan on ever having a chevy but I found a 2005 ccsb 4x4 with 53,000 miles that I picked up for 13k and I couldnt pass it up! its bone stock right now and the computer is saying its getting 18.7 mpg which I think is pretty good. (I know there not right) I'm gonna put an intake exaust and ppe tuner on it to try and get up around 20mpg. Anybody got any other tips or ideas to get some better mileage or make the truck more reliable? I will prolly be putting an airdog on it also... Thanks!

Programmers are for fords and old dodges. Welcome to the world of custom tuning!

An LBZ turbo mouthpiece is a good addition to those LLY's

An LBZ mouthpiece with a good high flowing intake, full exhaust to get rid of the cat, block the EGR valve, and a custom EFILIVE tune would be best(PREDATOR would be my 2nd choice followed by PPE 3rd). Run stock height tires or a set of 235/85/16's for milage.

Thanks! Where's the best place to get the lbz mouthpiece?
