Here's some pics of what I did to control the wastegate if you clock the housing and don't run the factory boost referenced controller. I dunno if I'm gunna like it, but I'll try it.

I migged a mild steel tab onto the exhaust housing, except my weld was the sh1ts, so we tryed the tig and the tig did a really really nice job. Prob try just the tig the next time I gotta weld on cast.

looks good.... lots of room to adjust as needed... let us know how it preforms

I've had one welded to like that since last january. Exhaust housing seem to be made of a better cast.

How does it reference when to open? Just when the pressure against the flapper exceeds the spring pressure?

Did you drill out the hole for the wastegate? I just worked on my 341 yesterday, the wastegate hole in the 341 is tiny. I was going to make it real big but ended up with a 1 inch hole like the other ones I drilled out. I wish I had measured it but I bet it's half inch or smaller.

ya, I drilled mine out to 1 inch. It was very small before, I forgot to measure mine too before I drilled it.

I really like the 341 in the twins. Seems to cool as good and lights fast. I've had it to 60 lbs. of boost and still clears the smoke to a light haze.I have it set at around 28 to 30 lbs. of boost. Does anyone know how many lbs. of or cfm the 341 is compared to the 351. The 351 is around 67 lbs. but I don't know what that is in cfm.
