How far can I get with a valve body?

I am just trying to figure out how much of a difference one of Jeff's VB will make as far as holding power and drivability. I also was wondering if I need anything else like a billet strut or what have you not?

pending on what you do with the truck. I would say a valve body will help a lot and i would also upgrade the strut. While your in there get the sonnax Front Servo Piston Cover, with O-Ring its less then 50 bucks. What converter do you have?

I would get a converter while you're at it, the two kinda go hand in hand.


Just a side note, you'll love the shifting once you get everything installed..

Yeah, I know I need to do the converter as well but I don't want to drop the tranny and funds are a little short right now.
