Howling noise

Hi every one i have a 2003 ram if i start it and rev motor sounds fine if i put in gear an go down rod it sounds fine until i push it down about half way then it howles???any help apreciated!

Does it only howl when you push it down half way? Try pushing it down all the way and see if it still does.

Get a spray bottle with a little soap and water. Just mist it around all the connections and look for bubbles.
Pay close attention to the gaskets on the cylinder head around the intake.

The t-bolt clamp broke on mine where the charge pipe connected to the intercooler on the passenger side and it sounded like a tornado siren when I got to about half throttle. It scared me pretty good at first. I pulled off and found the loose boot, babied it back home and replaced it.
