Installed of a BD RAD and now we have got codes

Got a 237, 622,1765,and 1693.



I had the batteries undone for a wile while installing the RAD and put a new bolt in the left battery while the right side was still connected after the install. Don't know if this has anything to do with it but I guess once I get home from the shop I will connect the DTC reader and clear them and see if they come back.


Any answer as into why the 1765 is coming up? It doesn't seem to be a electrical related code... or is it? I know the RAD is throwing the 1693, 622, and the 237.

Yes but I ain't hitting it. I have gone back and read the DTC codes again on the thread that has them listed and saw that I have read the wrong one. That is my bad. They all make since now after reading the correct 1765 :doh:

The RAD always trips a CEL when turned on. It should go away after a while. I would imagine the CEL would bring codes with it right?

BD Rad throughs five codes for me, after 3-5 restarts the check engine light goes out and after a few hundred miles the codes dissapear.
