I have an '01 24 Valve with the stock HX35 over a BHT3B, 150s, Adrenaline, and all the supporting mods. What i want to know is if I replaced my HX35 with an HX35/40 with a 14cm wastegated housing and some 6x.016s would that be enough. Would that be enough air for the fuel or should I go with differnet turbos like a 62/65/14 or 62/71/14 over an S475? Any help would be greatly appreciated.:thankyou2:

And some BIG sticks on an so pump with the adrenaline custom tuned. That'll be enough air to get you to 650+hp. The hybrid 35/40 and s475 would be enough for 600+hp. Guy on the cummins forum just laid down 550hp with a super b over s475... hybrid is bigger than the b... 62 is bigger than hybrid.

bigger is NOT better vp's dont respond to volume. Its about efficency. Can you do it with a SO hell yeas. You dont need or will not make power with "BIG" sticks. You dont need anything larger then a 6x13 injector. 1000+ hp and 10.5's in the quarter have been done with a 6x13 injector.

Mach 7's and a 66mm will get you there. Mach 7's and a 62/71 over a S475 will get you there also. Mine and Marcus truck both have cams though. Soon to have a ported head and a Bigger single. I am going to try and max out a SO pump. Where both running just a drag comp box also.

My 02 made 638hp and 1283tq, with Mach 6+'s, Drag Comp, and a 62/65/14 over a S475.

That same setup is still on the truck and going strong. I have about 140,000 miles and about 1,600 1/4 mile passes since I dyno'd that. The turbo's have not been off the truck since then. The truck has 230,000 miles total, and almost 2,100 1/4 mile passes. I have tried a lot of different boxes, but I always end up going back to the drag comp.

Yeah the 65 turbine wheel... This is a direct result of that wheel, too much back pressure, twins, and a heavy foot

The inducer is fine the thrust was good before loads of fuel and 8k later the little 65 made the comp wheel sound real funny

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I will probably go with a 62/71/14 over 475. Now I just need to decide between SDX or CPP injectors in about the 250HP range.

Ryan at RCP also puts together some good sticks.
