I am building a little 1.8L Isuzu diesel from a Chevette for a Suzuki Samurai. I would like to get about 200-300hp out of it. I wanted to see if anyone had experience modding these little engines. Here are my plans...

HE341 or T25 turbo

45% honed injectors

Find someone to biuld the VE style Zexel pump. I talked to Schied and they said they dont really have any exsperince, but they were sure they could do something.

Roots type eaton blower from a gm or tbird super coupe would keep it torquey, and still have the power up top

Id rather just turbo it, but have heard of some guys running the little M90s.

I have a pup with the same engine, I'm gonna follow this one :D

I thought the pups had the 2.2 isuzu in them? Maybe I am confused.

I am betting 2-300 HP and it will split the crank in half. Aren't they rated under 75 HP from the factory?

50HP lol

Even a little under 200 I would be ok with, but not 50... or even 100hp.

My dad had one in a 82 chevy luv(isuzu pup) it had a 5 speed. Wasn't too bad it definitely wasn't over powered, but it did get about 38 MPG.
