Underground Diesel Performance & Terrible Herbst teamed up to hold a dyno day this past Saturday May 11th, 2013.

Only one truck broke 1000 hp but it was still fun to spectate.

Dmitri Millard was there and although he didn't have a truck, he still got right in there on the front lines and even helped engineer this 150 HP shot on a D-Max.

I believe the current terminology for this is GHETTO FOGGER

This D-Max had some nice popping on the top end, it sounded a lot healthier than the 500-550 it put down on the first couple runs.

Random Cummins:

Dalen's Fummins with the Allison ran well for a stock 06' with a Smarty and some Mach 1 nozzles.

PPE had the highest numbers of the day, fuel - only on the first two videos:

1084 on Nitrous was the highest number of the day, it was pretty hot and the correction factor was hovering in the 1.08 range all day. This was a dual roller Mustang 250 dyno so it is difficult to get the high HP trucks to fully hook up. The dyno was a touch stingy on the uncorrected numbers but with the large 8% correction factor, I'm sure nobody has a reason to complain on the corrected numbers.

Newly dyno his shop truck?

They are still working on the stroker upgrades on the motor so it was there on display on a trailer but it did not have a motor or tranny....

One last video, this Cummins pushed coolant on every run, had some pretty good rattle as well but it managed to stay together:

Here's a shorter clip of the wastegate on that PPE truck surprising that hot chick:
She's lucky it didn't blow off her dress.... LOL

I'll tell ya, I've never been scared by a truck at an event, but that ppe truck sure got me!

How much did that black 2nd gen in the video put down???

Just curious? That truck belongs to a buddy of mine.

Nice videos. I believe the black 2 gen did around 500 with a boost leak

Good event for sure, lots of trucks will make it into the mag. Blue, it was nice talking to you again, get that junker going for next year!

Intake plenum had a huge leak, I think he could only get 30 to 40 psi into the motor so it didn't make the 600+ he was hoping for.

tire spin on the 1084 run? sounds like it wound up way faster than just a 120hp over the 960 runs.

The dual roller Mustang Dynos are notorious for wheel spin. At the same time, they did open the wastegate and re-map the tune via EFI Live for the nitrous run. Maybe they pulled back enough timing and such that the nitrous tune is closer to 880 fuel only and the juice was good for 200 HP. I don't have any idea what's different in their fuel only and nitrous tunes.
