liquid seeping at exhaust manifold

I popped the hood today and seen bubbles blowing between the gasket ant the exhaust manifold. It's had a oil looking stain there for a month or two. At first I thought it was oil but its a black soot environment so it could be antifreeze. Then again I heard of water droplets in the head or building up in the manifold. So a leak or a exhaust leak? There was a thread someone posted with a pick with the same problem but I searched but can't find. Any advise guys would be appreciated.

Mine does the same thing when it's cold, just unburnt fuel. I was told it is no big deal.

I have seen one do what I think your describing, from valves seals.

Mine did that last year. No exhaust valve stem seals. Oil was everywhere!
