I currently have a 05 Chevy with duramax and allison, I am looking at a few 13 Fords and 13 Chevys. I just wanted to hear opinions if anyone has had / drove both. What is average real world MPG with 6.7L?

Depends on how you drive. The 6.7 (F250 CC 4WD) I drove was getting about 16.5-17 driving 70 city 30 highway, driving fairly conservatively. Highway it would get 18.5-19 at 70mph and upwards of 22 at 60mph.

The LML I drove (3500 CC 4WD DRW) was getting about 16.5 as an all around 60 highway 40 city mix.

I dont own a 6.7 but I have a friend that runs one with a 6in lift and 35s and gets about 12 in town and gets 18 highway rolling 75 to 80

Not meaning to hijack, but I'm looking at new ones myself, but I'm looking at the 14 dodge and ford. How is the mileage on the dodge. might as well compare all 3.

After you do the full deletes, I know a guy that is getting 20-21 on the highway

I have heard that the new Dodges running DEF are doing quite a bit better than the old 6.7 Cummins.

I've got a 12 Crew cab 4wd dually long bed King Ranch auto and I'm seeing about 14mpg mixed driving. Interstate empty I've seen 16mpg a time or two. Loaded 38' gooseneck around 10K I'm seeing 8 to 9 mpg. Still love this truck

I'm sorry, but that 22 mpg is really hard to believe.

Bone stock and baby-ing the hell out of it, you can squeak out 20 ish. And I'm talking all highway and pissing everyone off type driving. It can, but most won't.

I'm convinced ford set it up on the ragged edge of fuel econ, because any slight additional load makes it drop quick. Going to 35x12.5r22's dropped me 3-4 mpg LOL
