I thought this was pretty neat.

Drifting isn't neat, its demonstrating you have poor traction. A stock Ford Pinto can drift if it has bald tires.

Actual racers can get around corners far faster by maintaining traction.

It's less expensive and makes more logical sense to shoehorn a 454 big block in a Vega for drag racing. However, I choose to race a 8k brick. That's my choice, just like drifting is the motorsport choice for these guy.

Okay, lets get on topic. I bet this guy could drift a track at least twenty seconds faster than you could DRIVE it. Is that off topic? Besides you made you the OT police.
