Well originally I was going to go back to stock fuel and leave the the fuel system alone for a little while. Then I drove the truck with one pump that was pretty lame. It didn't take to long for me to figure out that was not going to work, but neither was the kit that was on the truck due to the fact that it really wasn't the easiest to work on. I wanted a duel fueler kit that was as close to stock as possible and that is what lead me to talk with Morgan at Midwest Diesel and Auto. I am now the owner of the Midwest Duel fuelers and will be installing the kit hopefully in the week to come. I am also going with ported fuel rails this time after seeing how small the stock rail inlet is. I got ANOTHER new hpfp today so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't leak. All in all I am excited to get the Midwest kit on my truck and see how it works. I have already had one duel fueler kit on the truck so I will have something to compare it to I guess. The two things that I do like already is the fact that I get back my larger alternator (200A) as well as the pump is 1:1 with the stock pump in the valley so they will be driven the same. I REALLY like that the high pressure lines are ran out of the way so pulling the valve covers will not be a problem. I will be keeping this updated as things progress.
