need help asap

Buddy and I have his 05 dodge 2500 ripped apart pulling the heater core. Can't figure out how to get the dash top off.

Call me at 814-229-9321. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Remove the entire dash as an assembly.

No need to call. Drop the steering column and remove the entire dash assembly. Then remove the complete HVAC box and disassemble it to replace the heater core. It's a 6 hr job from start to finish.

the top of the dash far forward towards the glass just pops off.

The long piece that is next to glass?

Just pry up. Then pull towards the rear. I usually take the A and B pillars off first tho. But is not necessary.

So just an update on that. Ended up, my buddy never pulled the bolts out of the dash that go thru the steering column support bracket. def. wouldnt move if its still bolted fast...:nail: some people...
