ok. i have a friend that isnt on the forums. he's got a VP truck and started a build awhile back and just got it finished up and the head gasket blew the first time out and he wasnt even running it hard. he has it tore back apart and is debating on if he should fire ring it or not. he has twins.. 64/71/13 over s480. he needs it to hold 80+psi. he's not sure if the fire rings will be ok for daily driving and if he needs to upgrade from the arp 2000's he has now to a better stud. so any help on the fire rings on a driver and the studs would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I would do the o-ring they hold 80+ and will last longer on the street.

Some 625s and o-rings will hold 80psi. I've heard mixed opinions on fire rings. If machined properly i dont think they should be a problem.

i have heard both too. but wasnt sure because i have no experience with either. i had one truck with orings but didnt drive it much at all. thanks for the help.
