Yesterday I installed a new compressor, liquid line, and dryer. All went fairly well. Wasn't able to get any oil out of the old compressor and went ahead and added just over 2 oz to the compressor and 2 oz to the dryer.

I had to crank over the engine for a while to get oil up to my turbo feed line(newly rebuilt turbo) after that was done I started it up for about 20 seconds and noticed this...

05 cummins new compressor - YouTube

I went ahead a shut it down, warmed up my cell phone and took this video. so all in all less than 1 min run time.

What I am thinking (hoping) is that with no 134a in the system there is no restriction on the compressor making it easly free wheel with the brand new "tight" clutch. Pulled the belt off and the compressor spins freely but cant get te pulley to spin with out the compressor spinning. 12v compressor clutch plug is disconnected. What are your guys opinions? Oh and the truck was/is outside and was 0deg out.
