I am thinking about putting in the 225 inj. since they didnt sell. If i do what is the best way to setup a nitrous system on the 6.0s? Jet placement? I would like to be able to hide everything so putting the jets on the back side of the elbow is prob. out. the reason i ask is it seems some ppl make more power than others with comparable sized inj.:thankyou2:

injector size alone doesn't make HP.. but you already knew that..
so let's consider some things that could make a big difference given the same size injectors in each case...
-turbo sizing
-tuning
-nos of course
-head work p/p
-intercooler

I have mine tapped right into the intake elbow going to the motor:nos:.

^^^^^^ have you ever dynoed your current setup. it seems very close to mine.:thankyou2:

I have had my 200's in for almost a year now but haven't dynoed.

you went up from the 190's to the 200's right ?

how much of a difference have you noticed just from driving by the new sticks ??

are you using a vgt or nonvgt turbo with them ??
i've got some 200's being built right now and just curious what to expect from them ..

I have a modded stock turbo by Industrial....it's a 62/86.
I had a 65/88 and it surged like a mofo and screwed up the bearings so I sent it to Industrial and had them rebuild it and balance with their setup.

You can expect high egt's!!! unless your turbo moves ALOT of air.

My 190's had 36ml nozzles and my 200's have 42ml nozzles so I have plenty of this:st:

I honestly don't like them as much as my 190's....they are too big,but that's my fault:doh:

have you considered going to a nonvgt to reduce restriction and help with the egt's ?? nate is going with 225's and eric from innovative promises they won't be too big..
i know that i have high egt's even with my 175's, my nozzles are 38L currently.
i've got some 200's being built, and i honestly think they will drop my egt's because of the fact that i will make more boost with them and clean up better i hope..
i say this because in lower gears i only make about 30psi and the egt's are pretty high, but when i'm in top gear i can make 40psi and then i can hold the injectors wide open and not have an egt problem because there is enough flow to burn the fuel..
i believe a nonvgt might help you

I have considered it,but doubt I ever will.

I really don't want to screw this truck up with any more mods since it's a daily driver.

My truck has NEVER been to the dealership for ANYTHING and I'd like to keep it that way.
I have a RACE truck and had rather run it than tear up my daily driver.
I had a goal I wanted to reach(run 12's)and I did that pretty easy last year and haven't run it since even though I installed larger injectors.

i know what you mean about not wanting to screw up a daily driver.... but even though i have other vehicles that i could drive if the truck broke (heaven forbid).. but they just sit because the PSD is my daily driver. i drive my truck everyday except for the days when i tear into it to mod it or something. i've been rather lucky too as my truck has never been back to the dealership since i've owned it either..
i guess i could devote a single vehicle to strictly race, and gut it out and do all the other stuff that "drag cars" do, but that just doesn't excite me for some reason..
it's the fact that my truck IS a daily driver and does drag strip duty that makes me proud of it. that's why i would get so irritated on some of the other forums when people would try to call me out and brag about whipping me because they have a fast superduty... but honestly ANYONE can make a fast superduty if all it has to do is go down a dragstrip, but how many of those guys are gonna be able to drive to the track in their personal daily driven work truck etc and be able to back the smack ??? and that's why i do what i do with my truck. i put over 30K miles a year on it, it takes me to work, i take it on vacations, i go offroading and camping, and can still crack off a high 12 with it in street trim...
back when i thought it was all about just being the fastest i got a hold of a base model PSD truck and gutted just about everything that wasn't necessary, but it was certainly not something i'd want to drive around town in. point is that is was way faster than my current truck, and at 11.7's was probably faster than most of the internet fast guys but it just didn't give me the same satisfaction that i get when i'm headed home from the casino and the guy in vette or the camaro tries to come alongside to give me the bird for smoking him out but somehow he just can never seem to get up alongside me :)... i love it..
and the best part is that the whole time he's trying to pass me he's just getting more and more of the same smoke that pissed him off to begin with :)

i mean if you've already done the injectors and all the other stuff to your truck, swapping the turbo out will be a minor thing. you can swap to a nonvgt in your driveway with hand tools in about 2 hours, and if it ever had to go to dealership (knock on wood) for any reason, it'd sure be easier to put the stock turbo back on than to put the stock sticks back in ya know ..
