Guys, doing a 12v NV4500 on a 06 F550 that had an auto. What speed sensor do you guys use to make the ford speedometer work?

I thought it got speed signal from the differential. F350's do.
 
I believe the one on the trans is only for the computer. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but the computer looks for T/C speed and output shaft speed.

I went from a 5r110 to a zf6.didn't do anything and my Speedo still worked..
 
Output Speed Sensor on the 5R110 is only for shifting purposes. The speedo reads from the rear diff.
