putting intake valves in for exhuast

im rebuilding my motor and want a valve job. can i just order 12 intake valves and have them machined to fit with new seats were there were exhaust valves???

Exhaust valves are smaller on a 12v than the intakes, so that would be a bad idea. A lot of people have ran intake valves all around without any issues.

We tried it once, lasted most of a pass. Thier made of a material that can't take the heat, we burned all 6 of them out in short order. Look at going to a nice stainless valve, you will end up taking the guides out to 11/32
