Does this have any merit or is it snake oil? I know it works on gassers and motorcycles but Diesels with turbo's?? The ram air scoop has holes in it to let water and debri out but I think that defeats the purpose! S&B and Banks offer this set up and claim a bunch of bull but I would like some real world input!

I think it was Jim Lane on DTR that built a homemade scoop using a banks rv scoop and some hvac skills. Put the scoop just below the bumper and at 70mph, in neutral, he had 3-4psi.

I'm in process of sending some fenders to a certain carbon fiber master on CompD to have some scoops made for pass quarter panel

i like my air 'rammed' via turbo......

iirc, you have to be running somewhere in the neighborhood of 150mph+ to have measurable pressure at the intake

chock up most 'ram air' designs to improved inlet openings/placement/filter design showing gains
