I broke another stock rear axle, each time I pull an 8500# class I break an axle. I ordered aftermarket ones but didn't get them in time for this pull.

There were 13 very strong trucks that made it over 300' so there was a pulloff for the big money at the end.

There were several heavy hitters from from as far away as OH, MI, WI & KY at this pull. Thanks to the Platte Co. Fair and St. Joseph Diesel for putting on this great pull with a $5000 purse.

Congrats Tomac, sounds like an expensive evening for a lot of people. If you're breaking axles then it sounds like you're making about the right amount of power...

Congrats tomac, but you're breaking the stock rear axles, the 14 bolt, I've never heard of those breaking.

I installed new axles in my 14 bolt this spring and marked a straight line down them. When I pulled them last week, one had half of a turn on it.

so is it bad if you have to unscrew the axles out of the carrier? :hehe:
